BALTIC SEA HEADING TO LITHUANIA

        Our position at noon is on the Baltic Sea just south of Sweden (yellow arrow in red circle).  We are 230 miles from our next port of call, Klaipeda in the Baltic country of Lithuania.  It is sunny day again but have had some patches of fog this morning.  Temperature at noon is 72F and the seas are perfectly smooth AGAIN.  I have never been on a long cruise like this with such smooth seas.  At noon the Captain says the weather tomorrow in Klaipeda is forecast to be mostly sunny and low 80's.  

        We have several new crew members on this segment.  Well, they are not "new" as we know them from previous Regent cruises, but replaced crew who left on their vacations.  For our Regent cruise friends who are reading this, the new General Manager is Davor and new Cruise Director is Ray.  We also ran into Ernesto, one of our long time bartender friends, last night up in the Observation Lounge.  He missed the boat in Copenhagen due to a paper work snafu so just arrived yesterday in Warnemunde.

        The chef featured a "Baltic Grill Buffet" at the pool deck grill during lunch today.  I tried some of this.

 I'm not sure what it's called but is sauerkraut and German sausage.  It was good.  I also had a piece of grilled, fresh cod that was excellent.  We need to get back home as there we both have an Atkins bar for lunch.  There is too much tempting good food here on Voyager.  Charlotte had her usual sugar free chocolate ice cream.  Ok, so did Rebecca & I.

        Ok, are you hungry now??  This morning we passed this Wind Star ship with sails up.

        We have a suite steward and stewardess taking care of us.  I just found out that NuNu our stewardess had to leave the ship yesterday for a family emergency.  We hope all turns out well for her as she was a real sweetheart.
