As I said photos cannot adequately portray what our eyes saw yesterday in the fjord. The panoramic view was awesome and I probably could of easily taken a 1000 photos instead of these 97. Sorry, but many were taken from our bus as it ascended Mt Dalsnibba. The bus and its windows were spotless and I increased the camera speed to try and eliminate blurring. What made yesterday even more special was the absolutely perfect weather. There was some smoke pollution near our anchorage due to the other three older cruise ships that were using "heavy" oil in engines. Our Voyager uses a lighter oil because our ship is powered by turbine engines.
We are at sea today going around southern part of Norway heading for Copenhagen, Denmark. We will be arriving there tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. This will be the end of the first 16 day cruise so many of the passengers will be disembarking and new ones embarking. We are continuing on for the next 10 day cruise which visits the Baltic countries (see itinerary at top of the blog). We love it when on the last day and night people are busy packing and depressed about having to leave the ship. Why? Because we just continue to "chill out" and have fun. We aren't going anywhere!
I have more photos of the four of us that I may try to put on a separate posting later today. AS FOR THESE PHOTOS, I RECOMMEND YOU CLICK ON FIRST ONE TO ENLARGE IT THEN GO THROUGH THEM. YOU WILL WANT TO SEE THEM ENLARGED! I'M NOT ADDING CAPTIONS SO YOU WON'T MISS ANYTHING. THE PHOTOS EXPLAIN THEMSELVES.
